Are we playing tomorrow (Thursday)? I'm able to come, but to be honest would be happy not to as one of my sons has soccer training tomorrow night and the other a game. I have also been working hard on the new tables in the last two days and my hands and arms are quite sore!

Well, personaly i think that sunday is more important than tomorrow. And you have nice amount of games played so i think you can have a league-free thursday. Hope your arms will be in good shape at the weekend GO Eliot, GO GO GO!!

By me it's ok if you skip thursday. I think we already spoke about this possibility last thursday. You have a lot of games played and the next ones should really be against Seppo (on Sunday).

Olen myös ens maanantaina aika varmasti hesassa, joten onko peli-iltaa 28.5??? Harkkapelejä ei kai ole koskaan liikaa vaikka ylikuntoa on ollutkin...

Hönäkkälän on kai tarkoitus pelata Kurvin suunnalla joitain pelejä, joten eiköhän joku harkkapeli ole mahdollinen. Saattaa olla, että voisin itsekin jotain pientä järkätä.

Thanks too Vesa. Actually, I'd better skip it now, as my wife is now at the last minute having to go to a function at the boys' school at 6pm, so there is too much going on in our household!!

Sunnuntaina aloitetaan klo 9.30. Toivon, että mahdollisimman moni tulee viimeistään kymmenen maissa, jotta pelit saadaan kunnolla käyntiin. Tarkoitus on pelata paljon, eli varmaan sellainen 5 tuntia.

On Sunday we'll start at 9.30. I wish that most players will be there by 10, so that we can get the games going. We'll play a lot which means maybe about 5 hours.

Seuraava pelikerta on lauantaina 2.6. iltapäivällä. Tarkempi kellonaika myöhemmin.

Tarkoitus on kuitenkin lähinnä laittaa turnauspöydät kuntoon, joten pelejä ei tulisi kovin paljon. Vähiten pelanneet voisivat pelata pari ottelua. Esim. Wille voisi kohdata rästipeleissä sekä Eliotin että Zingan. Eliot voisi pelata ainakin yhden pelin lisäksi (Zingaa vastaan?). Harjoituspelejä pöytiä testaten voisi ehkä myös pelata, jos muualtakin on tulossa porukkaa (esim. heinolalaiset).

The next session is on saturday afternoon as we spoke.

The idea is to set up the tables for the tournament, but we could play a couple of remaining games. Wille could play Eliot and Zinga, plus Eliot could play one more game (perhaps against Zinga). Practice games can also be played if we want to test the tables.

Kaksi viimeistä kierrosta olisi hienoa pelata täydellä porukalla niin, että kolmella pöydällä pelataan samanaikaisesti. Tämä olisi tarkoitus tehdä joko Juhannusta edeltävällä tai sitä seuraavalla viikolla.

Pyytäisin siis kaikkia ilmoittamaan, jos noilta viikoilta on tiedossa päiviä jolloin pelaaminen ei onnistu. Näin voidaan jo hyvissä ajoin yrittää päättää pelipäivä, joka sopii kaikille.

It would be great to play the last two rounds simultaneously on three tables with everyone present. This would be on the week before or after midsommer.

I'd ask everyone to inform me if there are days on those weeks that are not ok for playing. This way we can try to decide relatively early a day that suits everyone.

Yritän tulla auttamaan järjestelyiden kanssa. Pistin Willelle sanan, että lauantaina pelejä, mutta en saanut vielä vastausta. Olen houkutellut kisoihin vanhoista hitaan pelaajista mm. Tuomas Kivelää ja Tommi Hujalaa. Kummankin osallistuminen on hyvin epävarmaa, mutta jos niin hyvin kävisi, että tulisivat, niin yritän saada heidän kanssaan lauantaiksi pienen treenisession.

That's a great idea Hönkki! I'm happy to do that if there is time on the day (I have something on in the morning at the boys' school and then we are going to the Serbia-Suomi game in the evening, but I should have a couple of hours in the afternoon to set up and to play a couple of games).
