The ball shall be placed within the quarter circle or centrally on the quarter circle line at the side of the goal where the ball has crossed the goalline. Timon ja Eliotin pitää pelata tänä viikonloppuna, koska Eliot on Lontoossa kaksi viikkoa ja Timo sen jälkeen heti kaksi viikkoa lomalla.

Muutkin Timon pelit (Hönkki, Seppo, Wille, Petri) pitäisi siis saada pois alta ennen Timon reissua, jotta sarja saadaan loppuun Eliotin ollessa täällä.

Mutta ilmoitelkaa nyt, hyvät ihmiset, jos teillä on reissuja tms esteitä kesäkuussa! Eliot on poissa 4.-18.6. ja lähtee heti kuun vaihteen jälkeen. Kukaan ei vielä ole Timon lisäksi ilmoittanut esteistä Juhannusta edeltävällä ja seuraavalla viikolla.

Eliot ja Timo (on Sunday) pelaavat ennen turnausta vähän yhdeksän jälkeen.

On Saturday Eliot could play at least Wille in the league and Hönkki for the Easter trophy. It would be good for Eliot to play another match in the league, but not necessarily. The games remaining are against Zinga, Masse, Kaitsu and Vesa.

Timon pitäisi lomien takia pelata loput neljä peliään parin viikon sisällä. Jäljellä vastustajista ovat Hönkki, Seppo, Wille ja Petri. Kukaan muu ei ole ilmoittanut olevansa Juhannuksen tienoissa poissa, joten muiden pelejä jää niihin viimeisiin kertoihin. Näistä enemmän toisessa otsikossa.

And so he was beaten. As I promised... The game was quite open and Zinga led 2-0 at half time. The equaliser came with a long shot from the line and the clincher with 30 seconds remaining after an error in defence by Zinga. The title seems to be heading to Australia following these results. The second place is surprisingly still open especially if Eliot manages to beat Zinga.

Timo's chances of third spot were washed away with the draws, but he showed his class against Seppo. 1-0 at half time when playing with only nine outfield figures (you never know with Timo), and 3-0 crushing at the end.

Hönkki suddenly has a good chance of finishing fourth, which of course requires a bit more than nil-nils.

1-1 was the result of the day. Wille played all his three games 1-1 and Petri his both games. Wille against Timo was interesting with both goals coming in the last 90 seconds.

Zaccy all but made sure of finishing ahead of Saku and Masse by beating Saku. Saku made a lot of nice flicks in the game against Zinga, but has been ineffective throughout the season.

Deserved victory for Vesa eventhough I pressured most of the game. There is no room for explanations when 2-0 situation is lost. That is one of the most interesting parts of the game that the mental things count sometimes even more than pure skills. More losses will come if the lack of concentration and cockiness (kusipäisyys  :twisted:

Wille ja Zaccy miettivät, että ovatko pelanneet toisen pelinsä jo, mutta tutkailin tilastoja, ja 6-0, jota muistelivat oli ekalla kierroksella. Minun tietämättäni ei myöskään toiseksi viimeisen kierroksen peleistä varmaan ole pelattu aiemmin yhtään, joten peli on pelaamatta.

Olis kannattanut varmaankin pelata se eilen , kun Willellä oli "1-1" -putki päällä

Hönkki was quite lucky in both games, but it's part of the game and he has been unlucky for example in our previous meeting. These wins take Hönkki probably to fourth place. Vesa secured third place before the game against Hönkki, but lost any realistic hopes of second place.

Zaccy kept Wille on his toes, but an agonising error put Wille in front with eight minutes to go. The ball went to Zaccy's goalkeeper's area, but Wille hit it before Zaccy got a touch, and it went in off the keeper. Zaccy's game has improved a lot from last season.

Wille has a chance to overtake Kaitsu on goal difference in their game. Kaitsu has also difficult games against Eliot and Zinga left. But Seppo is the favourite for sixth place at the moment. Timo has all but secured fifth place.

I wish these positions could last forever...

I think we'll try to play all the remaining league games on Tuesday. That would mean four games for Eliot who would be at the table constantly. I hope it's ok. So this session is the official ending of the season, even if for some reason, a game or two of other players would not be played.

Eli yritetään pelata sarja loppuun tiistaina. Eliotilla olisi siis neljä peliä putkeen. Sepolla, Kaitsulla ja Zingalla olisi kolme peliä. Tiistaina on siis kauden virallinen lopetuskerta, vaikka jostain syystä joku yksittäinen peli (ei Eliotin peli) jäisikin pelaamatta.

Well, sometimes the living is easy. Today 0 points was not so far away, but I got 6. I can't stop wondering how Vesa and Timo couldn't score againts me. I saved one of Vesa's good shots without watching the ball when I was holding the keeper with the other hand and in the same time making the blockingflick with the other, just to mention one of the situations. I had all the tablefootball gods on my side today. First time this season.

Wow!! Some amazing results while I have been away. The league is getting better and better. Congratulations to Vesa for finally beating the Finnish champion!!......Zinga dropping points is great for me of course, but it's not over until all games have been played. I will need to play my best to win the league.

Are you planning to play next Tuesday, rather than next Thursday? I can play that day but only arrive back in Finland very late on Monday night (well, Tuesday morning really), so if there is any chance of playing on Thursday that'd be nice. But if Tuesday suits everyone else, so be it.....

So Eliot finally did it and won something in Finland. After having 1-1 draw againts Kaitsu and being 0-1 losing at halftime againts Vesa and Zinga leading Kaitsu 1-0 at the same time, Eliot had to go through a real pressure to achieve the championship. He did that and came out as a winner.

Kaitsu had an excellent day and got one point from Eliot and Zinga. Seppo was also successful and got 6 points. I admit that losing today was a bit bitter even though I will be higher in the league than Seppo. Placements 6 and 7 are still unsolved and it is quite possible that goaldifference will decide. Timo will be 5th while having goaldifference +23. Kaitsu has +11 and Seppo +4.  Very equal in strength on placements from 4 to 7 anyway.

Jarkko is the king among beginners. 8 goals and 9 points in this season is ok.

We have played 130 games in 111 days which is truly fantastic speed and it has to be our all-time record in this size of league.
