1. Malta: MTFSA event 2 (by Hansel Mallia) During last weekend, the MTFSA organised the second local event held at the Victor Tedesco Stadium. Three events of this kind are scheduled so that divisions will be formed at the end of the season to establish the Maltese Champion. This competition was done on a tournament basis were 16 players took part. Four groups of three and one group of four meant that only the first two players from each group managed to qualify for the next stage.
Two matches of preliminary round took place soon after the groups in which Hansel Mallia and Kenneth Attard lost to Mark Gauci and Massimo Cremona 2-3 and 1-2 respectively.

At quarter final stage, Charles Aquilina and Derek Conti lost to Mark Gauci and Samuel Bartolo while Joe Mifsud won over Massimo Cremona with a 2-0 margin and Ilai Zammit bet Adrian Bonnici 2-1. In the semis, Gauci won his encounter 5-2 against Ilai Zammit while Bartolo lost to Mifsud 2-1 in the extra time. The final between Gauci and Mifsud encountered a very open match where Mifsud was twice ahead but did not retain the lead and lost 3-2 to Gauci.

2. 30th birthday for CCT Roma
Italian club CCT Roma is going to celebrate their 30th birthday on February 23, 2008. There will be a party among former and current players. You can send your wishes to CCT Roma President Fabrizio Sonnino at www.glasgowtablesoccer.com

5. Spain: Super Copa Murciana
On February 9, Miguel Angel López won the "Super Copa Murciana" after he beat Angel Valverde (1-0) in the final.

6. USA: Maricopa Cup round 2 (by Simon Hutchinson) On Sunday February 10 the second round of this year's Maricopa Cup was played in Simi Valley, California.  Eight players played in the tournament, making it the best attended Maricopa Cup round in its three year existence.
There were surprises too.  Steve Tucker ended Wayne Smith's six year unbeaten run with a 1-0 victory, and finished the eventual winner.  And newcomer Andrea Guarducci beat Simon Hutchinson.

1. The 4th Major will be held in London
London will host a FISTF Major in the season 2008-09. FISTF Decided to give a chance to the San Siro Worthing 5 Star club as Nicky chapell and Eric Verhagen sent a very convincing presentation file for their tournament.
Anyway, FISTF decided that the Major will only be warded for one year and that a decision to continue or not will happen after the first edition of the tournament. More details will follow.

2. 3 tournaments next week-end
The forthcoming week-end will have three interesting tournaments. The Grand Prix of Denmark will have a great field of players and seems to be very interesting.
South Africa will have their 4th FISTF tournament and for the first time Clifford Graaf, who is now in the world's top 300, will not be allowed to play, which means that the winner of the Future in Johannesburg will win his first FISTF title ever.
Finally, the Future of Mechelen, the first tournament ever organized in the FLanders (dutch-speaking side of Belgium) will have a good fiel with already 30 entries and 5 teams. And possibly more to come...

3. Grand Prix of Malta
The Grand Prix of Malta will finally take place on May 3 & 4.

4. Grand Prix of France in Beausoleil
The invitation file is now available from Alex Popoff at www.gp-beausoleil.blogspot.com

5. Italy: Pisa on top
Black and Blue Pisa took the lead in the italian league after the first leg held in their hometown on February 16 & 17. Pisa won 6 games and drew 3 times, which was enough to keep a short advantage of 1 point over Perugia and 2 points over Reggio Emilia. To be noted that the Eagles napoli played most of their games with only 3 players (Bolognino, Guimaraes and Setale).
The table: 1. Pisa 21 ; 2. Perugia 20 ; 3. Reggio Emilia 19 ; 4. Bologna and Stella Artois Milano 13 ; 6. Napoli 12 ; 7. Black Rose Roma 10 ; 8.
Bari 6 ; 9. Falconara 5 ; 10. Palermo 4.
In the Serie B, in a very open league, the team of CCT Roma took a clear option to the promotion to Seria A. The team of Antonello Rodriquez managed to remain unbeaten and they are 7 points ahead of Sessana and Torino while Fiamme Azzurre is now the top candidate to be relegated to Serie C.
The table: 1. CCT Roma 25 ; 2. Sessana and Warriors Torino 18 ; 4. Cagliari
16 ; 5. Ascoli 13 ; 6. Leonessa Brescia 12 ; 7. Virtus 4Strade Rieti 10 ; 8. Biella 8 ; 9. Catania 7 ; 10. Fiamme Azzurre 3.

6. England: Chris Thomas and EPL are champions The "English Premier League" team won the national team title last week-end at the ESTFA cbhampionships after they beat San Siro Worthing 5 Star in the final. Congratulations to Dave Pawsey, Matt Lampitt, Justin Finch and Paul Sutton. Chris Thomas took the individual title after he beat Chris Short in the final. 1. Mons will be huge
The Major of Mons will be held this week-end and there is an amazing field of 216 players and 45 teams registered. It will be one of the biggest tournaments ever and a lot big names will be present. Take a look at the entry list of the tournament website at www.ashennuyer.be

2. Grand Prix of Denmark
Despite the poor attendance of foreign players, last week's FISTF Grand Prix in Odense was another interesting tournament with 44 players taking part. There was no surprise in the Open category with Eric Verhagen beating
Massimo Cremona in the final (2-1) while Robbert Thoen      and Anders Buhl
Hansen reached the semis. The other categories were interesting also with a very close final between Dominik Schulz and Björn Kegenbein in the U19 category (4-4) and Shulz winning on shots. The U15 section was another german affair with Björn Kegenbein beating Marcel Kwiatkowski (2-0). In the veterans, there was a big surprise with Marcus Tilgner beating Henk Landzaat in the semi (3-1) and René Bolte in the final (2-0). René Frey, also from Germany, took the U12 title after beating Nico Wilse (3-0).
In the team event, Sparta Spreeathen 74/82 beat SSG Borussia Bergkamen
(2-1) in the final.

3. FISTF Future of Mechelen
The first FISTF tournament ever organized in the Flanders (dutch-speaking side of Belgium) was a successful day for the local table football community with the presence of 32 players and 4 teams. In the Open category, Didier Van Renterghem (Brussels SC, 208th in the world rankings) defeated local player Peter Pollaert while Bart Van de Vliet and Jerry De Paron reached the semis. The U15 tournament had 17 entries and young talent Glenn Pollaert defeated Andries De Stuyver in the final to win his first international title. In the veterans, Diederik Boyen won the final against Filip Van Hulle.
Finally, the team event was full of interesting games. Templeuve United (with 3 players) defeated SC Flanders in the semi-final but could beat the top favorite of Brussels SC in the final. Brussels SC, who won the first ever Challenger for team in January, is now in the FISTF history of the first ever winner of a Future for teams.

4. FISTF Future of Johannesburg
The 2nd edition of the FISTF Future of Johannesburg took place last sunday and 9 players took part. As the top 3 Sout African players in the world rankings are now in the top 300, there was a chance to finally stop Clifford Graaff's supremacy in local events. In a very open final, Harold Silber finally defeated Reza Bodiat 5-4 while Max Silber won the U15 tournament.

5. FISTF Future of Johannesburg - Clifford Graaf's report The 24 of February 2008 saw the second Future of Johannesburg  Table Football Tournament under the auspices of both FISTF and SATFA take place at Mark's Park in Johannesburg. The Johannesburg Table Football Club was the organizing club.
A total of nine participants took part which included three novices.
After the group stages the semi finals saw Jason Graaff (after a break of over 20 years) go down fighting by three goals to one to Harold Silber (Harold's third goal has been described as one of the best seen in local games as he converted from the tightest of angles in the top corner of the net).
In the other semi final Reza continued his much-improved form by accounting for junior Max Silber by four goals to nil.
The final paired Reza against Harold which resulted in an epic struggle producing nine scintillating goals. Harold got the final off to a blistering start when a lapse in Reza's defense saw Harold blast the ball in the top corner from just inside the shooting area. Reza's reply was almost immediate as his close control forged a gap in Harold's defense to equalize. This spurred both players on to produce top quality table football which would've graced any tournament final. Harold regained the momentum half way through the first half with a well taken goal only to see Reza rally immediately to once again equalize. Harold then produced a bit of magic as an attempt from his own goal area allowed the ball to be passed to a well positioned striker to net his third goal just before half time.
However Reza was not to be outdone and an intricate move from the half way line allowed him to canon his third goal in from an acute angle shortly after the start of a pulsating second half.
Harold, who was now playing with nerves of steel, once again seized the initiative by splitting Reza's defense with an immaculate through ball from his goal kick to set up a great lob over the keeper to grab a very important lead. Reza through everything in attack in searching for the equalizer. However this allowed gabs to be created in his defense which Harold exploited by once again piecing together a very good move to open up space and set up a great strike to double his lead. Reza's reply was almost instantaneously as Harold failed to clear his area resulting in a quick one-two and a thunderous goal from Reza to set up a grand stand finish.
Time was now running out for Reza who now through everything in attack only to see a very calm Harold defend with aplomb. The final whistle brought an end to a titanic struggle and also heralded in a deserving new Future of Johannesburg champion, namely Harold Silber. However Reza was instrumental in making this final one of the all time greats. A word of thanks must go to both players as the final was contested in a great spirit.
Max Silber capped a great day for the Silber clan by defeating Michael
Fouche in a      thriller which ended in a one-all draw. The resultant
shoot-out saw some great shooting and goalkeeping by Max to keep out a steadily improving Michael and underline his potential as a great young prospect for the future.
Congratulations go out to both the winners and a big round of thanks go to all the participants in making the day a truly enjoyable occasion.

1. Major of Mons
The 33rd Major in the history of FISTF took place ont he first week-end of March. It was a very big tournament with 44 teams on the saturday, 213 individuals, 12 countries and 46 different clubs among the entries. Running the tournament was also a real challenge for the organizers and dthey did it perfectly.

The team event was full of surprises. We must admit some of the top teams didn't show up with their best players as there were some late drop-outs like Bolognino, Guimaraes and Mettivieri (Napoli), Mattiangeli, De Francesco and Nastasi (Perugia), Lamberti (Reggio Emilia) or Matzinger (Mattersburg). In the barrage round, Mattersburg was defeated by the B-team of AS Hennuyer, which played with their "old legends" like Brau, Ruelle, mairesse, Dieu and Père while Stembert beat Perugia and Temploux defeated CCT Roma. The last 16 round was also full of surprises with Hansel Mallia's golden goal to help AS Hennuyer to beat Hamrun TFC while Roligans beat current european champions of Pisa and Temploux manage to beat Brussels SC thanks to an individual victory of Steve Grégoire over Gil Delogne.

After many close games in the qruarter-finals and the semis, Murcia and Reggio Emilia qualified for the big final. The spanish side dominated the first half but finally the Italians took over in the last 15 minutes to win their 3rd title in a Major thanks to individual victories of Bari and Sousa.

The Open tournament was also of a vey high level with 126 players taking part. Only 2 players from the host countries were still involved during the quarter-finals but finally Belgium managed to surprise many top players thanks to Sami Targui (25 years old, SC Charleroi, 67th in the world ranking). The young Belgian, who lives just a few kilometers away from the venue, managed to beat Stefano Buono, Carlos Flores, Saverio Bari, Robert Lenz and finally Wolfgang Leitner to win his first international tournament in the Open category.

Belgium took also two important titles int he individual categories as Justin Leroy managed to score a golden goal in the U19 final to beat Juan Noguera (Spain) while Elodie Bertholet beat Victoria Büsing (Germany) in the ladies final. Bertholet, 3rd int he world rankings, wins her first Major ever.

Int he veterans, the tournament was dominated by 2 nations as both the Netherlands and Italy had 4 players int he quarter-finals. Finally, it was a full italian story with Severino Gara beating Mauro Manganello to win his 3rd Major after Bologna 2005 & 2007.

In the U15 section, Andrea Manganello did better than his father as he beat Angelo Borg from Malta on shots in the final while Kai Hagenkötter won the
U12 final without playing. His opponent, Federico Solari from italy, had to catch his plane early and couldn't play the game.

As a conclusion, we can say it was a very good tournament and that once again Mons proved to be the place to be for all table football lovers.

6. www.flickabout.com supports Jamie Turner (by Fabrizio Ghilardi) What you are about to read is not a funny story. It is a bitter, dramatic, sad story. It should make us think. It is the story of any fan of any football team of any country. That he is called Jamie Turner and is a fan of Manchester United is really just a detail. Certainly, not for him and certainly not for his family. The date of 15th May 2005 will remain impressed in Jamie Turner's memory for the rest of his life. Luckily.
Because it means that he still has a life and a memory. And, from the very beginning, it was clear that the risk of losing both was very high. Like so many times as he had done before with his friends, on that damn day Jamie had gone to the away match to support Manchester United, his favourite team. The season's calendar had brought him to the south of the island, to Southampton. Suddenly, however, the day of fun was turned into a nightmare.
A long and painful nightmare. As soon as he arrived in the vicinity of the stadium, he was attacked from behind by a group of fans of the local team and in a moment he found himself on the ground, hit on the head and unconscious. His skull had caved in, was fractured from ear to ear and the whole business was complicated by a brain haemorrhage. Immediately assisted and taken to the neurosurgical department of Southampton hospital, he had a whole section of his skull removed to facilitate the operation required to stop the haemorrhage. His family was immediately informed of his critical condition which was such as be seriously lifethreatening. For three weeks Jamie Turner was in a coma suspended between life and death. When he did awake it was immediately obvious that his brain has been gravely damaged and that if he ever did recover it would have taken some time, seeing as how Jamie has awakened with the mind of a five year old child. His wife and children stayed by his bedside trying to stimulate the recovery of his mental faculties and trying to discover what information he still possessed, as practically nothing of his life was initially present in his memory files: Jamie was just about able to read, but not to write, he had aphasia, an alteration of the language faculty, his voice was monotonous and his capacity of expression very limited. And that was not all: Jamie was paralyzed on one side of his body and in spite of every effort, his left arm and hand were blocked and, by not  transmitting the correct signals to his brain, his left eye denied him full capacity of sight.
Terrible migraines and a constant sense of fatigue worsened his case history. After numerous operations and much rehabilitation, with tens of specialists from various sectors of medical science, in August 2006 Jamie Turner was finally operated on once more to fix his broken skull with the insertion of a plaque to replace the piece of skullcap that had been removed in May 2005. This was necessary to protect the part of his brain where the blows had damaged it most. A few moments was all it took to make him a vegetable and years were needed to help him to recover a semblance of normality that will never be total. And above all so much suffering and unbelievable expenses. Jamie is still not able to work; he suffers from problems of sight, depression and constant migraines. And he has a great need to sleep and rest. But Jamie Turner's story does not end here. Thanks to the help of his family, his friends, the fans of Manchester United and many nameless people, Jamie has  ecovered. Slowly, but he has recovered. On 11th January last, Manchester United Football Club invited him with his family to meet the players of his favourite team on the occasion of the work-out before the following day's match. And on 12th January, Jamie Turner returned to the Old Trafford. The United players had promised him an intense match, dedicated to him and his family. A victory, all for them.
And that was how it went: Manchester United won 6-0 against Newcastle.
Jamie, overcome with emotion, returned for a few moments to being a normal man, forgetting his great suffering. And so, for now, we come to the end of a tragic story of a football fan, cowardly attacked by someone who left him almost dead on the ground. Action Now – Play old style has decided to offer its own small contribution of economic assistance to the Turner family.
Over the next few days, in agreement with Jamie Turner and his family, some photographic works donated by the Swedish artist Charlotta Smeds – works that were shown in the Photographic Exhibition 'Flick about' and that portray Subbuteo players of Manchester United – will be auctioned. The proceeds of the auction will be given to the Fund that was created especially for Jamie. Because even a small offering can contribute to assisting a great man and a great fan.
Jamie Turner.

Clifford Borg-Marks's documentary "The Hobby" can now be viewed for free online on Babelgum.com (direct link is http://www.babelgum.com/html/clip.php?clipId=113338). The online television site offers very high quality streaming of the film. People who haven't seen it yet would do well to go there first before they decide if they want to buy a DVD. The site requires downloading of the Babelgum software and registration. Both the download and the registration are free. Apart from Clifford's movie there are also many other worthwhile programs to watch on this site.

1. America Cup 2008 - A Success! (from our contact person in the US) Now that the first ever FISTF North American Continental Cup, aka America Cup 2008 has passed, it can definitely be viewed as a great success.  The level of play, organization and sportsmanship was at an all time high here in the US with some great results.  In this first edition, the Paul Eyes Table Soccer Academy, aka Maryland Subbuteo Club walked away as the big winners, getting their revenge over their Old Firm rival, Subbuteo Club of Connectict.

The team final was the highlight of the weekend with one of the most intense, well played team matches ever on American soil.  The youngsters from Maryland SC came up big getting some clutch wins in their matches (Cranston 3-0 over Conturso and Sheridan 2-0 over Taylor) which proved to be the difference in the match and hand the title and coveted America Cup to the club from Maryland.

In the Open, Zach Walker managed to top the extremely tough field with very close matches in the quarter finals and semi finals against Tillman and Conturso.  3 past ASA National Champions in Walker, Deinhart and Wilcox all were in attendance, showing how much depth there was in the playing field.  Also notable was the great play of U19 US Champion Patrick Sheridan who at the age of only 17, managed to make the final in the Open category over the tough field.

In the U-19 category, a massive 26 players came out to fight for the title as top youngster and as most commonly has happened, the Maryland SC youngsters rose to the top, but this time it was Daniel Cranston topping his good friend and clubmate Patrick Sheridan in a very close and tight final 2-1 in extra time.  The level of play in the youth category shows how the hard work of Paul Eyes and co. is paying off as more and more youth are playing the game every year and are becoming better and better, both challenging each other and also the players in the Open category.

And lastly in the Veterans category it came down to a re-match of the 2007 US National Veterans Final between Paul Eyes and Gregg Deinhart.  This time Eyes got his revenge by edging out Deinhart in yet another close game, winning on shots to claim top spot in this category at the America Cup.

All in all it was yet another great weekend of table soccer in the U.S., showing that the level of play, organization and interest for this great game is increasing with every day.  Plans are already being discussed for an America Cup 2009 so make sure to stay tuned for that as North Americans are hoping to make this an annual event, hopefully enticing players from all over the continent to attend.

Many thanks to the FISTF BoD and community for supporting their friends from the Western Hemisphere and providing them the opportunity to host their first ever Continental Cup!

4. About the FISTF forum
Some people noticed the less number of users on FISTF forum. How comes? In the older forum we had more people who discussed. What can we do to attrack people to this good communication tool. Maybe an announced fixed meeting-time at the forum with a slogan on www.fistf.com or in the weekly newsletter can help. Monday evening 8 pm (MET) could be a good time (because about 24 hrs after a FISTF tournament weekend) or Thursday evening
8 pm (MET) short before the next FISTF tournament. It's just an idea so everyone is welcome to joint he forum at this time of the week to discuss the actuality of table football.
Thanks to Thossa Büsing for the great idea.

1. Grand Prix of Beausoleil
The 9th tournament of Beausoleil, which was the Grand prix of france this season, took place last week-end. Players from Monaco, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Germany and England were taking part. On the saturday, the team event was dominated by the players from Stella Artois Milano. The italians beat the current european champions of Black & Blue Pisa (Simone Bertelli was absent) in the final (3-1). In the veterans tournament, it was an italian affair with an interesting final between Paolo Finardi and Giacomo Monica (3-2). Jérôme Herbecq (Belgium) also won the U19 section. In the open category, 36 players were taking part and there were many close games. In the semi-finals, Daniele Bertelli beat Nicolas Wlodarczyk (on sudden death) while Saverio Bario beat Stefano Capossela (1-0). In the final, the sudden death decided the winner again and Daniele Bertelli beat Saverio Bario (3-2).

2. News from SS Lazio Roma TFC (by Andrea Lampis) Last week S.S. Lazio TFC "graduated" 3 regional champions (Lazio region), all in the most promising categories, those where the youngest players and promises are who take the center stage. Diego Tagliaferri won the Under 15 category event, Giulia Tagliaferri the women competition and Elder Maida the Under 12. Also, Cascioli reached the semifinal in the Veterans. The club thus keeps its high profile towards the Serie D teams finals that will take place in Fiumicino (Rome) on April 26-27. In this final that will grant two places in third division (Serie C) to the first ranked and to the winner of the barrage between the second and the third of the whole lot, S.S. Lazio TFC will have to face good teams such as Anacapri, CT Imperia, Faenza, Real Maremma, SC Pierce 14 Altavilla Monferrato, Siracusa, Subbuteo Team Sassari, Subbuteisti Modena and Ternana. S.S. Lazio TFC will be present in Barcellona at the FISTF event.

The important school Dante Alighieri of Rosario, Argentina, hosted a demonstration of table football to the students. Initially programmed in two turns of 30 minutes each, the demonstration actually lasted more than 4 hours, due to the great enthusiasm showed by students and teachers. More than 100 people could see the game and more than 20 actually had their first ticks, following the instructions and explanations of the headquarters of the local Subbuteo Association, ASR08, Paolo, Roberto, Benedetto and Vanesa, who mounted two tables in the school. Many of these people were induced to announce their participation to the Newcomers Cup (April 26th) , which has been organized in order to duly launch the first Grand Prix of Argentina, to be held in Rosario on May 3rd-4th (see www.asr08.com.ar and click on Gran Prix Argentina 2008 to see the presentation page in four languages.

1. Major of London moves to Amsterdam
Because of several reasons, FISTF has decided to award the 4th Major for the season 2008-2009 to Amsterdam instead of London. FISTF didn't get the guarantee that the tournament could take place with the very high standards a major should always have. The organizers of the Amsterdam Grand Prix accepted the challenge and promised to host a big tournament on April 4 & 5, 2009. Players interested for details can contact Robbert Thoen at http://home.arcor.de/mtilgner/bfc08/bfc-08.htm
Best regards, hope to see you next year in Austria

7. Grand Prix of Argentina Rosario (by Claudio Miscia) It was the biggest tournament ever organized in South America, a great success for the Argentinian League and the guys from Rosario: the 38 participants from Argentina, Italy and England, players from Rosario, Buenos Aires, Córdoba and Mar del Plata disputed the 5 trophies.
Efisio Fois was the big winner of the Grand Prix, beating Patricio Echevarrieta 1-0 in the final match of the open tournament and Benedetto Colarossi 5-1 in the final of the Veteran's Cup.
Claudia Cuello took the Ladies' Cup to Buenos Aires, winning all the games against the girls of Córdoba and Rosario, which made the second place thanks to Vanesa Heisterborg.
Rosario was superior in the young section: Fabrizio Castello won the Under
15 competition and Nino Di Giannantonio won the Under 12 one. In both competitions Marco Miscia reported the second place.
Final numbers: 120 matches played on 9 tables, 352 goals scored, 22 hours of competition, 5 cups and 15 medals. See all the data, the results and the pictures on www.asr08.com.ar

8. Grand Prix of Malta & Open of Hamrun
Massimo Cremona won both tournaments last week-end in hamrun. There were players from Malta and Italy taking part. Matthew Pace (Open) and Darren Bezzina (GP) were the U15 winners while the Veterans titles went to Emilio Richichi (Open) and Adrian Bonnici (GP). Here are the Open results:

OPEN: against Ilai Zammit Marmara 1-0 on shots after a 1-1 draw
Semi-finalists: Kenneth Attard & Derek Conti.

GRAND PRIX: against Charles Aquilina 1-0
Semi-finalists: Derek Conti & Emilio Richichi.

9. Grand Prix of South Africa
The tournament, basically scheduled on May 11, is postponed to a new date, which will be May 18 or 25.

10. Grand Prix of Greece
FISTF has finally decided to let Greece organize their Grand Prix on June 7 & 8.
For details, contact Chris Aggelinas at s.cotronei@email.it

12. Canada: Tournament report - The 2008 Globemaster Cup This was a fantastic tournament, which saw 7 players get together including the top ranked Canadian player Bruno Biasini and the 2nd seed Mark Meihuizen.  There were some hard fought games in the group stage, which carried over right to the final match.  Bruno and Mark met in the finals, where Bruno had incredible and flawless blocks, stopping Mark on every rush.  Bruno captured his 6th consecutive CSTFA title in Ontario, beating Mark 1:0 in a great match.  Special thanks goes to Steve Whitehead for organizing the event and Scott Andrew for hosting it at his house.  The atomsphere was friendly and I can honestly say this was incredibly fun.
This tournament also saw the registration of a new player, Nick January.
Thanks to all at the EOMSL for a great day, here are the results:
Final: Bruno Biasini - Mark Meihuizen 1-0
3 rd place: Steve Whitehead - Derek Arsenault 3-0

13. USA: Maricopa Cup in Southern California Features Shock Defeat (by Kevin Nieman) SCSC's Wayne Smith experienced a rare defeat at the hands of fellow SCSC member, Kevin Nieman, during Round Three of the Maricopa Cup Tournament in Southern California. 14. Italy: Ravanelli at ACS Perugia (by Stefano De Francesco) Fabrizio Ravanelli Silver Fox, unforgotten  player of Perugia, Juventus, Middlesbrough, Olimpique Marseille and Lazio is the special guest star of A.C.Subbuteo Perugia 1973. He was taken on pictures while playing against Andrea Manganello, last winner of U15 in Mons.

15. Italy: FISCT at the Casa Azzurri (by Stefano De Francesco) We are very proud to announce that after two years  the marvelous experience of FISCT at Casa Azzurri is taking place once again. FISCT will be close to the italian football national team during the football european championship. FISCT's presence is important for the future development of our sport. Press and television will speack about our game. New sponsor should be contacted. A big success for the italian federation and for all our movement!!
